Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Ricky Stanzi could start in Week 16 according to head coach Romeo Crennel. Brady Quinn
sustained a rib injury Sunday during the Chiefs' loss to the Oakland Raiders. Matt Cassel is no longer a viable option as the Chiefs evaluate their options. Cassel led Kansas City to a 1-9 record. Stanzi is a second-year player from the University of Iowa. He has no regular season experience thus far in his young career.
Fantasy Analysis:
If you live in the Kansas City area, bring a football and chuck it around the parking lot and you just might earn a roster spot with the Chiefs. Stanzi obviously has no fantasy value and hypothetically, should he play well, it's still a long-shot that he survives the massive overhaul coming in the offseason. This team has won one of their last five games and is the current favorite for the No. 1 pick in the 2012 NFL Draft.
