Philadelphia Eagles head coach Andy Reid informed reporters Monday that running back LeSean McCoy
has a "chance" to play in Week 16 against the Washington Redskins. The former Pittsburgh Panther has been medically cleared to return after weeks off due to a concussion. McCoy hasn't played in a full month though. Rookie Bryce Brown has excelled at times and with little to play for, the Eagles may opt to severely limit McCoy's playing time and touches should he play.
Fantasy Analysis:
Fantasy owners who have remained patient with McCoy could be rewarded if they still have something to play for in their leagues. He has 985 total yards and five TDs on the year. If he's healthy enough to play, he is worth at least a flex play despite the obvious risks. We are still talking about one of the best players in the league in an offense led by a rookie QB. Obviously they'd lean on McCoy if he was in the starting lineup.
