New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski
practiced on Wednesday as a limited participant. This is a favorable sign regarding his Week 16 playing status although he will likely be listed as questionable all the way until game-time. ESPN's Adam Schefter has already said it is more likely that Gronk returns in Week 17. The Patriots are always mum on their injuries so there is no reason to expect any additional information anytime soon unless it is concerning a potential setback.
Fantasy Analysis:
Fantasy owners would love to have Gronk back this week and as long as he plays, he is a must-start. Before going down with this injury, he had caught seven touchdowns in his previous four games. He had at least five catches for 60 yards in seven of his ten games played. The guy is a fantasy scoring machine and hopefully by now, everyone has secured a decent backup tight end in case he is unable to go. Aaron Hernandez
should continue to see a ton of targets with Gronkowski out.
