New York Giants running back Ahmad Bradshaw did not participate in Wednesday's practice because of knee injury that also kept him out in Week 15. Rookie David Wilson
got his first career start last week and expectations were very high but he only managed 66 total yards on 13 touches. The Giants gave some playing time to Kregg Lumpkin as well and he rushed for 42 yards on nine carries. Head coach Tom Coughlin said it would be a medical decision whether Bradshaw plays this week.
Fantasy Analysis:
The fantasy community was sizzling over Wilson's big-game potential and he largely let us all down. This wasn't entirely his fault though as the Giants went for it on a couple fourth downs, failed to get any push whatsoever and gave Wilson no room to convert. After that, Coughlin seemed to lean towards Lumpkin who had a solid game in limited playing time. Any timeshare between Wilson and Lumpkin effectively negates either player's fantasy potential. Should Bradshaw play this week, it is very likely he split carries with Wilson and maybe Lumpkin as well. Bradshaw and Wilson should, at best, be considered flex options given Coughlin's erratic choices with splitting carries.
