Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Sidney Rice
did not practice on Wednesday because of a knee injury. If you recall, it was a foot injury that nearly kept Rice inactive in Week 15 and head coach Pete Carroll commented after that game that Rice's foot was still sore. So this knee injury could be a whole new issue. Carroll recently said, "We might have to take care of him a little during the week to get him ready for game day."
Fantasy Analysis:
Rice is one of those players who always seem to have some type of injury. That said, he's having his best season by far since his breakout year with Minnesota back in 2009. Rice has 49 receptions for 734 yards and seven TDs. This makes him a solid flex who may or may not start in a given week depending upon the matchup. If he does play this week, his fantasy prospects are rather low anyway. Seattle hosts San Francisco this week and the 49ers limited him to two receptions for 32 yards back in mid-October.
