Ravens wide receiver Torrey Smith
will play today versus the Giants one week after suffering a concussion, according to ProFootballTalk.com. Smith was able to practice on Thursday and Friday and reportedly gained full clearance over the weekend. He has 44 catches for 767 yards and seven touchdowns on the season.
Fantasy Analysis:
Smith is pretty lucky considering teammate Bernard Pierce, who suffered a concussion in that Denver game last week, probably won't play today. Smith has caught a total of five passes for 68 yards and no scores in his last three games, but the Ravens' offense has generally played well at home, and Smith has a tremendous matchup against the Giants' burnable, injury-riddled secondary. Smith is always a boom-or-bust option, but you've got to like him as a high-end WR3 in this championship week for most fantasy leagues.
