The Steelers were eliminated from playoff contention after losing Sunday at home to the Bengals. They have nothing to play for in Week 17, so it's completely understandable that they play it safe with their best players. That includes tight end Heath Miller, who will likely miss next week's game against the Browns after he suffered damage to the MCL and PCL ligaments in his right knee on Sunday. He was injured in the fourth quarter. It is not known whether Miller simply sprained the ligaments or suffered complete tears. He finished Week 16 with three catches for 45 yards. He has 816 yards and eight touchdowns on the year, both of which are career-highs.
Fantasy Analysis:
I say Miller is "likely" to miss Week 17 just because nothing has been made official yet, but in all reality, he's not playing next week. Miller, 30, put up a huge season in 2012. He'll definitely be a top-10 tight end during 2013 fantasy drafts, but I wouldn't expect him to repeat this year's totals.
