Sunday's night diagnosis of MCL and PCL damage in Heath Miller's right knee got a much more dire update Monday. The Steelers' tight end has a torn MCL and perhaps a torn PCL, but added on top of that is a torn ACL. He is obviously done for the season and has a long recovery ahead of him.
Fantasy Analysis:
It's an unfortunate end for Miller just as he was putting the finishing touches on his most productive season. He set career-highs in yards and touchdowns, and his 71 catches were the second-most he has had in his eight NFL years. He will turn 31 next October and will undoubtedly be affected by this major knee injury come the start of next season. Adrian Peterson and Jamaal Charles, Heath Miller is not. So while he was one of the few pleasant surprises at the tight end position this year, he shouldn't be high on your 2013 draft boards.
