Despite re-reinjuring his right ankle during Sunday's win over the Cardinals, Bears running back Matt Forte
told the media Sunday night he thinks he will play this weekend in a must-win game for the Bears and their playoff chances.
"I can't see myself missing next week," Forte said. "... It's not the worst I've felt, but it's the third time, so it's getting a little aggravating."
Fantasy Analysis:
Kahlil Bell
and Armando Allen
would be called upon to pick up the slack if Forte can't suit up, but you have to figure the Bears will give him every opportunity to do so. The Bears need a win and a Vikings loss to get into the playoffs -- unless you really think a Chicago tie is possible. Anyway, Forte will probably sit out some practice time, but you should expect him to tough it out in Week 17. He is a fine RB2 against the Lions.
