Packers WR Randall Cobb to check ankle Friday after missing practice

After missing his second straight practice Thursday, Green Bay Packers wide receiver Randall Cobb @rcobb18 plans to test his injured ankle Friday and "see where we're at on Sunday." According to the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel, the second-year receiver sprained his ankle last week against the Tennessee Titans and an X-ray earlier in the week came back negative, revealing no significant damage.

Fantasy Analysis:

Cobb fully embraced an expanded role this season, catching 80 passes for 954 yards and eight scores. He also currently leads the league with 2,342 all-purpose yards and was certainly a huge steal for any fantasy league which includes return yardage points. If Cobb manages to play, he should fit nicely in starting lineups as a safe WR2 given his consistent contributions amongst Green Bay's injured receiving corps.
