Seahawks CB Richard Sherman wins PED appeal, will play Sunday

Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman @RSherman_25 always stressed that he was innocent after being handed a four-game suspension in November for a positive test of performance-enhancing drugs. It turns out he was right. Sherman won his appeal Thursday, meaning he will be eligible to keep on playing for the Seahawks for the rest of the season. If Sherman had lost his appeal, he would have been kept off the field until the Super Bowl, if Seattle had gotten that far. Sherman is tied for second in the league with seven interceptions. He was selected as a Pro Bowl alternate earlier this week.

Fantasy Analysis:

The fantasy take here is that this will obviously make things tougher for Sam Bradford and Co. this weekend. But Bradford shouldn't be your Week 17 starter, and you can trust only Danny Amendola as a WR3. But the bigger news is that the Seahawks will have Sherman and cornerback Brandon Browner, who will be serving the fourth and final game of his PED suspension this Sunday, both available for the playoffs. Opponents beware.
