Doctors say Redskins QB Robert Griffin III is 100 percent healthy

Team doctors have told Redskins head coach Mike Shanahan that Robert Griffin's right knee -- specifically, the LCL that rests inside -- is 100 percent healthy and there is no risk of him re-injuring the ligament. However, Griffin still wears a brace over that knee.
"The brace helps him at least mentally know that he's not putting too much pressure on it," Shanahan said of Griffin via the Washington Times. "I think sometimes that's why he looks a little bit different when he does cut. I think [the brace] bothers him just a hair, but it's something that he has to wear."

Fantasy Analysis:

Even though he averaged more than 10 yards per carry against the Cowboys last week and showed good speed getting to the edge, Griffin definitely had a problem making quick cuts. And yet, he still looks like the best player on the field at many times. However, I'm not sure how great of a fantasy playoff pick Griffin is, since I expect the Seahawks to pull the "upset" in Washington this Sunday.
