Vikings running back Adrian Peterson
and quarterback Christian Ponder
were both limited in Thursday's practice, but there is definitely more concern about the latter player than the former. Peterson practiced for the first time this week after getting some rest for injured abdomen and groin muscles on Tuesday and Wednesday. Meanwhile, according to head coach Leslie Frazier, Ponder was "highly limited" on Thursday because he wanted a problem in his throwing elbow to "calm down a little bit."
Fantasy Analysis:
But neither of these players are going to miss Saturday's playoff game at Green Bay, and Ponder shouldn't be on any fantasy playoff teams anyway. At this point, it would be a major victory for the Packers' defense if they can hold Peterson to less than just 150 rushing yards.
