On Tuesday, Dr. James Andrews may deliver some bad news to the future of the Washington Redskins. On Monday, he delivered some bad news to the team that just dispatched the Redskins from the playoffs. As the Seahawks feared, defensive end Chris Clemons has a torn ACL in his left knee and will miss the rest of the season. He also has a torn meniscus. The injury was confirmed by Clemons' agent to NFL.com's Ian Rapoport. Clemons, 31, leads the team with 11.5 sacks and 37 hurries.
Fantasy Analysis:
Of course, Matt Ryan will like not having to deal with Clemons, but rookie Bruce Irvin
, who will now replace Clemons in an every-down role, has eight sacks and 23 hurries, second-most on the team. Unless Clemons is able to steal Adrian Peterson's life force over the summer, It's almost impossible that he will be healthy for most of next season.
