It is not as bad as it sounds. Tennessee Titans wide receiver Kenny Britt
, through a spokesperson, announced that he will make "himself available to cooperate" with a police investigation regarding a stabbing outside his family's home. It was initially reported that his brother was stabbed outside of Britt's home, but it turns out it was a friend. The spokesperson also said, "Kenny immediately brought his friend to the hospital and was there with the injured friend's family for several hours, but was not otherwise involved with the incident." Britt is not a suspect.
Fantasy Analysis:
Britt may have his fair share of issues, but this is just a case of wrong place, wrong time, according to what the police have made public. Although it is not entirely appropriate, let's talk about Britt's fantasy season. He did have a solid year, but he finished outside of the Top 50 WRs with "only" 45 receptions for 589 yards and four scores. The former Rugers standout missed two games as well. The Titans are counting on him to become their true No. 1 receiver and considering 2012 was his fourth year in the league, more progress should have been made by now.
