The only offensive skill player whose status is truly in question for conference championship Sunday is Ravens running back Bernard Pierce
. He has been dealing with a bone bruise on his right knee, an injury he aggravated during last Sunday's win over the Broncos. Pierce didn't practice on Thursday but he returned in a limited capacity Friday. He is officially listed as questionable and has already guaranteed that he will play versus the Patriots.
Fantasy Analysis:
And he most likely will. The injury kept Pierce to just five carries in a 77-minute game last week. If he's healthy, he should handle closer to 8-10 touches. Pierce has shown impressive skill in his rookie campaign, but he's nothing more than a backup with 25-year-old Ray Rice in front of him and showing no major signs of slowing down.
