Now that every head-coaching vacancy has been filled, NFL news is kind of watered down. You can only talk about offensive coordinators for so long. That's why it is nice to have people such as Lions wide receiver Titus Young
around to liven things up and give us all a laugh.
On Tuesday, Young tweeted that he has never been a selfish player, "but if I'm not going to get the football, i don't want to play anymore." Young also wrote he has never run the wrong route; he has "just put my self where the ball was going." This coming from a player who purposely lined up in the wrong spot on the field twice during a game versus the Packers this season. That led to a team suspension, and his season ended a couple of weeks later when he was put on injured reserve because of a knee injury.
"I'm a team Playa that just loves the Football," he wrote.
Fantasy Analysis:
It must feel really good to be that delusional. Those two tweets, which have since been deleted from his timeline, display just how little Young has learned since his Week 12 benching. The Lions haven't said much about Young's future with them, but odds are the relationship is over.
