Green Bay Packers center Jeff Saturday announced his retirement Friday after a 14-year career. The first thirteen of those 14 years were spent with the Indianapolis Colts. "We'll finish it with sunsets in Hawaii and call it a much better career than I would have anticipated," Saturday said. He began his career as an undrafted free agent with the Baltimore Ravens from the University of North Carolina. Baltimore released him after less than two months. Saturday later joined the Colts shortly after the 1998 regular season concluded. He finishes his career a six-time Pro Bowler, two-time First-team All-Pro, and Super Bowl XLI champion.
Fantasy Analysis:
Saturday had a great career paired with Peyton Manning. He anchored a lot of great offensive lines in the 2000s. This season was not as good. Green Bay allowed 51 sacks, second-most in the NFL. Saturday will conclude his career after his appearance in the 2013 Pro Bowl.
