The San Francisco Police Department will not bring charges against 49ers wide receiver Michael Crabtree
after investigating his role in an alleged sexual assault. The city's district attorney announced the decision Friday. Crabtree and his attorney fully complied with police during the investigation and denied the allegations all along. He will play in the upcoming Super Bowl versus the Ravens and will not face any disciplinary measures from the NFL or his team.
Crabtree was accused of sexually assaulting a woman in a hotel room during the early hours of Jan. 13. That claim fell apart after two other women who were in the room with Crabtree and his accuser reportedly told police that Crabtree didn't assault anyone. Police didn't report any physical evidence of an attack.
Fantasy Analysis:
With this episode behind him, Crabtree can now fully concentrate on the Ravens.
