Texans running back Arian Foster
tells NFL Network's Alex Flanagan that he will probably have a minor procedure done on his heart in about a month. Specifically, Foster says he is considering a heart ablation to fix the issues with his heart, which he has been aware of since age 12. Foster had to leave during the third quarter of a game against the Vikings in Week 16 because of an irregular heartbeat. He said he has suffered about eight such incidents during his life but never before during a game. He thinks the issue is related to stress.
Fantasy Analysis:
Any procedure dealing with the heart is a serious matter, but it seems like this procedure won't halt Foster's career whatsoever. He should be more than ready for offseason workouts and should be considered a lock as a top-two pick in fantasy drafts.
