Bills RB Fred Jackson says he is 100 percent and fine sharing carries with C.J. Spiller

Fred Jackson @Fred22Jackson is 31 years old. He will turn 32 on Feb. 20 and is coming off a disappointing, injury-plagued years. C.J. Spiller @CJSPILLER is the future of the Bills' franchise. He is 25 years old and became just the third running back since 1994 to top 1,000 rushing yards on fewer than 200 carries. Pride runs deep in all athletes, but Jackson said the smart thing when asked during a Friday radio interview about splitting with Spiller. Jackson said he has "no problems" sharing carries with the younger back next season.
Jackson also said he's 100 percent healthy after an MCL sprain ended his season in Week 14. He expects to be cleared by doctors next week and be ready in plenty of time for offseason workouts.

Fantasy Analysis:

Jackson can still be a productive running back, but hopefully Doug Marrone does what his predecessor, Chan Gailey, didn't do nearly enough: get the ball into Spiller's hands. We all know he is a special talent; he just needs the rock. Spiller has shown a few times that he can carry a heavy workload, and he is dynamic as a receiver. Jackson will be a nice running back to have on your fantasy bench, but Spiller, even in a timeshare, is an RB1. His coaches need to recognize that consistently in 2013.
