UPDATE: Vikings pick up HC Leslie Frazier's 2014 option, don't sign multi-year contract extension

Update: So actually, a multi-year contract extension wasn't signed. The Vikings just gave Frazier an extra year. According to the St. Paul Pioneer Press, the Vikings simply exercised Frazier's option for 2014.

----------------------------------------

The Vikings came to terms with head coach Leslie Frazier on a multi-year contract extension Wednesday. The Associated Press reported the news via two sources with knowledge of the deal, but it has not been announced nor have contract figures been made public. Frazier is just 16-22 in his two-plus seasons as Vikings head coach, but he is coming off a 10-6 season that saw his team win four consecutive games down the stretch to reach the playoffs despite boasting a one-dimensional offense that was without its best weapon in the passing game, wide receiver Percy Harvin @Percy_Harvin, for the final two months of the year.

Fantasy Analysis:

Fantasy spin here is, well, not a whole lot since Frazier is not offensively inclined. But we almost always like to see continuity when it comes to head coaches dealing with young offenses. Plus, Frazier has never been shy about filling Adrian Peterson @AdrianPeterson's plate. His relationship with Harvin needs some work, obviously.
