Cardinals head coach Bruce Arians praises WR Michael Floyd, his receiving corps

Bruce Arians is a great offensive mind who helped turn around the Colts last year. He's hoping to do the same with the Cardinals, and he likes what he sees out of second-year wide receiver Michael Floyd.
"I think he is a bright young star," Arians said Thursday via Adam Caplan. "He has to get better fundamentally. But he's physical, he's big, he's active. I loved him coming out. To see he and Larry (Fitzgerald) across from each other, and Andre Roberts @ARob12_Cards, that's a nice group. That's one position we don't have to worry about too much."

Fantasy Analysis:

If the Cardinals could find a competent quarterback to team with their quality wideouts, this offense would be dangerous. Until then, these words from Arians about Floyd should be taken with a grain of salt. Fitzgerald became a fantasy afterthought because of the Cardinals' QB situation last year. If that can happen to him, Floyd has no shot. He has the stature and athleticism to create problems for defenses, but it really comes down to who is slinging the ball. And right now, that won't help Floyd's value.
