A couple of hours before Jared Cook found his way of Tennessee, the Titans had locked up his replacement (sort of). The Titans came to terms with former 49ers tight end Delanie Walker
on a four-year contract worth $17.5 million, including $8.6 million in guaranteed money.
Fantasy Analysis:
As Vernon Davis was being ignored by Colin Kaepernick late last season, Walker did a decent job of picking up the slack. He recorded 13 of his 21 catches in the final six games of the regular season, and there was a small window when we was actually relevant in fantasy. But he doesn't take a lot of fantasy value with him to Tennessee. He'll probably be blocking more than anything else, because receiving is not his forte. Despite those limited number of receptions, Walker found a way to drop seven passes. Walker, who will turn 29 in August, has never accrued more than 400 yards in any of his seven seasons.
