Cowboys WR Dez Bryant's broken left index finger has fully healed
Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant is back to catching passes from quarterback Tony Romo now that his once-fractured left index finger is 100 percent.
"Finger is great," Bryant said during a radio interview last week. "I'm catching passes the same. I'm not missing a beat."
Of course, you remember how that broken digit affected Bryant down the stretch last season. It affected him so much, he caught nine passes for a career-high 224 yards and two touchdowns in a game two weeks after suffering the injury. He underwent surgery about three months ago, and at that time, the hope was Bryant would be ready for training camp or perhaps a mini-camp in June. It sounds like he will be just fine for either event. He has set lofty goals for himself in 2013, but a healthy Bryant has the ability to be the NFL's best wide receiver not named Calvin Johnson.
