Jaguars QB Blaine Gabbert already struggling in practice

Blaine Gabbert @BlaineGabbert knows all about playing struggles in the NFL. He hasn't completed more than 59 percent of his passes in either of his first two seasons. His quarterback rating, touchdown-to-interception ratio, and win-loss record are all dismal.
The Jaguars opened voluntary minicamp on Tuesday, so maybe it's not a surprise that, according to the Associated Press, Gabbert struggled in team drills on that day, too. He has been rotating first-team snaps with Chad Henne in minicamp.

Fantasy Analysis:

In his defense, Gabbert is just beginning to learn his third offense in as many seasons. As bad as Gabbert as been, you can blame the Jaguars for not installing much offensive continuity around the oft-rattled QB. No one should really care about results on the first day of voluntary practices. But this is just another reminder -- if you actually needed one -- why the Jaguars are rumored to be considering West Virginia's Geno Smith with the No. 2 overall pick in next week's draft.

Rotating QB's never works ! Pick one guy, Load up the O-Line to protect him and give him all the first string snaps. The theory that "competition breeds success" may work well at other positions, but the QB, who is expected to lead the team, can't do so, without full and unwavering support of the coaching staff and management. You can't march forward if you're constantly looking over your shoulder...i.e....Tebow/Sanchez
