Steelers OC Todd Haley says RB Le'Veon Bell will be a 'factor' this season

There is plenty of room for improvement in the Steelers' backfield, and the hope is some of that improvement comes by way of second-round rookie running back Le'Veon Bell this year. Offensive coordinator Todd Haley recently said that Bell will contribute right away.
"Obviously, there's a lot of work ahead of him," Haley said of Bell. "He's a young guy, but he's coming from a pro-style offense. A lot of the runs will be very similar to the runs that he was running. So I expect him to get into the mix and be a factor."

Fantasy Analysis:

How much of a factor depends on how Bell looks in camp compared to veterans Isaac Redman @ired33 and Jonathan Dwyer @JDwyer27; that's not an extremely high bar. Bell was a workhorse at Michigan State. He grinds out yards and moves piles. I think he has a lot of similarities with Dwyer as a runner, but Bell is a much better receiver, which is critical given that Haley loves to throw the ball. He has a chance to start Week 1.

Very anxious to see if this kid will get the pre-season work it takes to convince Pitt coaches to move him up to RB1. His heavy workload at Mich. St. and 3rd down pass catching ability make him a potential every down back who could rack up some serious fantasy pts. His size alone. 6'-1" 230 lbs should warrant quite a few looks at the goalline. RB3 with sneaky RB1 potential. Possible great value in the 5th thru 8th Rnds of a 12 team league.
