Bills HC Doug Marrone to WR Da'Rick Rogers: Grow up or you're out on the street

Bills wide receiver Da'Rick Rogers has the physical attributes to be a force at this level -- 6 feet 3, 205 pounds, and he ran a 4.52 40-yard dash at the combine. As a sophomore at the University of Tennessee, he gave trouble to some of the best collegiate defenses in the nation, leading the Volunteers in catches, yards and touchdowns.
Just based on talent, Rogers should have been an early round selection in the most recent draft. But he fell out of the draft entirely because off his off-the field baggage.. He was suspended from the team last summer for testing positive for marijuana three times. He finished his college career at Tennessee Tech, where he was productive again. But given his history, Bills head coach Doug Marrone is not going to put up with any nonsense from this rookie.
"It's a one-shot deal," Marrone said last week. "Either you've learned your lesson and you've grown up and you're going to go forward and mature, or you haven't learned your lesson and you're going to be out on the street. It's that simple."

Fantasy Analysis:

Rogers has been saying all the right things in front of the media, talking about how he is a changed person and knows that he isn't owed anything as an undrafted free agent.
The Bills also drafted WRs Robert Woods @robertwoods and Marquise Goodwin, and one of these three guys is going to be Buffalo's second starting wideout in Week 1. The fantasy stock of everyone here is extremely fluid since we don't know who is going to step up or how new quarterback E.J. Manuel is going to perform. (My early guess: not well). But Rogers is the guy I want the most out of this young crop in a dynasty league. He will probably have some notable performances this season, too. But he will be inevitably inconsistent, and all of these rookie WRs will cannibalize each other's value to some extent.

What will the NFL do, in the very near future, when the USA makes recreational marijuana legal and 50% of it's members go back to puffing the magic dragon. April 20th will be the start of mini-camps and a new National Holiday. The only baggage this guy has, is that he isn't smart enough to fake a urine sample.
