Titans WR Kendall Wright wants more YAC; QB Jake Locker healed up for OTAs

Titans wide receiver Kendall Wright led the Titans in receptions last season with 64. He also had the most yards after contact among Titans receivers, 341. But Wright isn't satisfied with that total. Heading into his second season, he wants more.
"Once I catch it, I know I can do a lot of things after the catch," Wright said via Jim Wyatt of The Tennessean. "That is my personal emphasis -- I just want to catch the ball first then go, instead of trying to make the move and then catch it. It just doesn't work like that."
A healthy Jake Locker would definitely help Wright achieve his personal goal. And right now, Locker is indeed healthy. He told Wyatt that he has fully recovered from offseason surgery on his non-throwing shoulder, and the shoulder feels "great." Locker plans to take part in organized team activities when they begin next week.

Fantasy Analysis:

Overall, Wright's rookie stat line -- 64 catches, 626 yards and four touchdowns in 15 games -- was serviceable, especially considering Matt Hasselbeck was throwing him the ball for a good portion of the season. Locker should be better than that. Titans coaches have said Wright will play a bigger role in the offense this year, so he should be a quality WR3 in fantasy.
Locker remains buried in the QB2 range, but that could improve if his coaches stay true to their words about letting him become more of a running quarterback this season.
