Bills TE Scott Chandler on track for Week 1

According to Field Yates of ESPN Boston, Bills tight end Scott Chandler @scottchandler84 is making good progress in his rehab following a left ACL tear, and "all signs point to Chandler's being ready for Week 1." The Bills play the Patriots on that day.
This report jibes with what Chandler himself said earlier this week. He told The Buffalo News that it's "realistic" that he can be ready to go by the start of training camp. Chandler tore his ACL on Dec. 23. He underwent surgery on Jan. 10.

Fantasy Analysis:

That game against New England should allow Chandler to get off to a fast start. He has been a major thorn in the Patriots' side in recent years. Three of his six touchdowns in 2012 came against the Pats. Chandler certainly isn't going to transform into some sort of dynamic player following ACL surgery. He's a touchdown-dependent player who does little else, and that shouldn't change this year. Who knows what kind of rapport he will have with E.J. Manuel. Chandler is well into the TE2 range.
