Larry Fitzgerald says Cardinals WR Ryan Swope still dealing with concussion-related issues

Wide receiver Ryan Swope hasn't played in a football game since Texas A&M won the Cotton Bowl in early January. But according to teammate Larry Fitzgerald, via Mike Sando of ESPN.com, the rookie is missing OTAs "while working through issues related to the concussions Swope suffered in college." Swope reportedly sustained at least four concussions during his career as an Aggie. It's the main reason why he dropped into the sixth round of April's draft.

Fantasy Analysis:

Larry Fitzgerald is smart, but a doctor, he is not. So, use your own judgment regarding how much stock to put into this story. Still, it's not a good sign considering Swope's last football game was almost five months ago. Swope, a collegiate sprinter who been compared to Wes Welker, has definite keeper and dynasty value, but his concussion history makes him a risky pick. He will open this season probably as the Cardinals' No. 4 wideout.
