Redskins WR Pierre Garcon not sure if troublesome foot will be trouble again

Redskins wide receiver Pierre Garcon @PierreGarcon was limited to 10 games last season because of torn ligaments in his right foot. He decided against surgery during the season, played through the pain down the stretch and has kept his foot from going under the knife during the offseason. Garcon said doctors gave him no guarantees that surgery would resolve the problem. Thus, the problem still exists in a way, and it might pop up during the 2013 season.
"You never know," Garcon said Thursday, via the Washington Post. "We could be playing on a bad field and something happens. Or we could be playing on a good field and something happens. I can't predict what's going to happen or how it's going to be. But I'm going to continue to rehab it and continue to work at it and continue to monitor it."

Fantasy Analysis:

Garcon did have shoulder surgery in January, but it is not expected to halt him at all during training camp. Garcon's right foot is something to keep in mind when you draft him. I think it's inevitable that we'll be hearing how the foot is bothering him at some point this season. I don't know if it will cause him to miss games, but it will be a nuisance. If you're willing to take on that baggage, Garcon should be drafted as a low-end WR2.
Garcon's production will obviously depend on the state of his starting quarterback. In case you hadn't heard, that guy is recovering from surgery as well. Someone should really write something about that.
