Titans WR Kenny Britt: 'I'm focusing more on football than I ever have'

About a week ago, I wrote a post about Jim Wyatt of The Tennessean stating he had heard that Kenny Britt @KennyBritt_18 took this offseason very seriously and committed himself to getting healthy and becoming a game-changing wide receiver. About a week later, Britt talked about his work.
"There's things that I would like to prove -- that I can be the receiver that I was two years ago," Britt said. "And I am going to be the receiver I was two years ago. I'm focusing more on football than I ever have in my life the last couple of months. So I'm really excited to see what I can do this year."
Two years ago, Britt played only ten quarters of football, during which he caught 17 passes for 289 yards and three touchdowns before suffering a torn ACL and MCL in his right knee, an injury that he was still trying to get over during last season.
Britt's renewed concentration on the game -- and life -- hasn't been lost on his teammates.
"It is beyond football for him right now," wide receiver Nate Washington said of Britt. "I think he is doing a lot better at home, staying out of trouble, and his focus is totally different. He has realized where he can be in this league. So he has been taking time out to work a little harder and do what he has to do on and off the field. Hopefully it all pays off for him."

Fantasy Analysis:

Just to pound it into your head again, Britt is healthy and motivated for this season. One of those motivations, I'm sure, is the lure of a fat contract; Britt will be a free agent next year. He could end up as one of if not the best value pick in your draft.

It sounds like Kenny finally got the message...heard that before. Dude has more arrests than catches ? Oh well, burning a 10th rnd pick won't sting that bad, and if he can regain any of his former swagger he has WR2 if not WR1 skills. I'll probably take him...again.
