Titans RB Chris Johnson: 'I know I have another 2,000-yard season in me'

Ever since Titans running back Chris Johnson @ChrisJohnson28 topped 2,000 yards in 2009, it feels like he's been saying he can or will do it again prior to every following season. On Tuesday, he fulfilled his 2013 quota.
"I know I have another 2,000-yard season in me," Johnson said in a radio interview. "I would love to get 2,000 yards again, but I have been to the playoffs since my rookie year. I want to get back there."
Johnson's touches might be limited somewhat by the acquisition of Shonn Greene, but Johnson said he can live with it.
"At the end of the day, you want to stay in there," Johnson said. "I'd rather have 2,000 yards than have 20 touchdowns, so you got to take the good with the bad."

Fantasy Analysis:

Well, Johnson was never going to reach 20 touchdowns, so no need to worry about that. He's not going to get 2,000 yards again either; no player has ever done that. All we want out of CJ is about 1,300 yards on the ground and another 400-500 as a receiver. Too much to ask? With the Titans' upgraded offensive line, and a focus on getting the ball to Johnson out in space more often, I don't think so. The touchdowns will come; 2,000 rushing yards will not. But that's just fine. Johnson is an extremely strong RB2.
