Colts, RB Ahmad Bradshaw closing in on contract agreement

The Colts and running back Ahmad Bradshaw are currently meeting and talking in Indianapolis. It sounds like they could be reaching an agreement on a deal very soon. According to NFL Network's Kimberly Jones, the sides are negotiating, and "it looks like a deal will get done" between them.
Bradshaw, 27, has been a free agent since the Giants cut him in February after six seasons. He underwent another foot operation during the offseason, but back in April, he received full medical clearance to take part in football activities.

Fantasy Analysis:

Let's just assume everything here gets finalized. What does it all mean? Well, it gives the Colts a lead back who can run, catch and block; they didn't have that in their trio of Vick Ballard @VickBallard, Donald Brown @Donaldb31 and Delone Carter. It would move Bradshaw suddenly into RB2 territory, most likely around No. 20 among running backs. He should get plenty of work in an offense that will put more of an emphasis on running the ball than the 2012 Colts. I assume Ballard will be the immediate backup, and Brown should be either waived, traded or relegated to a space carry here and there.
This post will be updated when contract terms are made public.
