Jaguars RB Maurice Jones-Drew unsure if he'll be ready for training camp

Jaguars running back Maurice Jones-Drew @Jones_Drew32 said he would be back to full speed by the beginning of June, but that is not the case. Jones-Drew said Monday that his left ankle is stiff after spending four months in a boot following December foot surgery, and he is being held out of mandatory minicamp.
More alarming is this from the Florida Times-Union's Vito Stellino: "[Jones-Drew's] plan is to be ready for training camp ... he doesn't know if he'll be on the field that day."
Jones-Drew was asked about his possible battery charge, but said he had been advised not to comment on the incident.

Fantasy Analysis:

I'll concern myself with MJD's physical status, not his legal issues. It's been a slow go of things for him, or at least slower than he would have liked. I am not concerned about Jones-Drew missing a June minicamp, especially at this stage in his career, but the major foot surgery, slow rehab and uncertainty as to if he will be healthy six weeks from now is worrisome. MJD is a high-risk, high-reward RB2 right now.
