Bills TE Scott Chandler's quick recovery from ACL surgery continues
Bills tight end Scott Chandler underwent ACL reconstruction surgery five months ago. At that time, the team said it expected to have Chandler available for training camp in late July, so today's events are an extremely encouraging step toward that goal. The Bills' official website reports that Chandler took part in practice on the first day of mandatory minicamp. His level of participation was not made clear.
Still, Chandler is coming along very fast after he tore his left ACL in Week 16 last season. If he's already on the field, he seems to be right on track for the start of training camp. Now, for fantasy purposes, I'm not going to care much about Chandler. His QB situation is pretty rough, and we all know he's basically a touchdown-or-bust player. That's been true for the past couple of years. He is a clear TE2 but should be good to go from Week 1.
