Titans HC Mike Munchak praises his WRs

As the Titans wrapped up mandatory minicamp on Wednesday, the team's top three wide receivers -- Kenny Britt @KennyBritt_18, Kendall Wright, and Nate Washington -- were on the mind of head coach Mike Munchak. He said it's been "fun" watching a finally healthy Britt running routes and catching passes. He said Wright, who lost 15 pounds during the offseason, has been "running out here like a guy who's going to break a lot of runs next year." And Munchak said Washington "has had the best camp he's had since he's been here."

Fantasy Analysis:

Rookie Justin Hunter @justinhunter_11 missed all but one day of OTAs because of a hamstring injury, and Kevin Walter has been held off the field because of a back injury. I'm sure if they were healthy, they would have been lauded, too. That comment about Washington strikes me as odd. It has taken him five years in Tennessee to have his best minicamp? What was he doing from 2009-12? Whatever the case, it sounds like the Titans will be keeping Washington after rumors swirled all spring that he would be cut Instead, it may be Walter heading back out of the door.
I am a fan of Britt this year and would love to have him as a WR3 or WR4. But the combination of a new offensive coordinator teaching a completely new playbook to a bunch of inexperienced wideouts and a young, inaccurate quarterback has me shying away from any other WR here.
