Arrest warrant issued for Patriots TE Aaron Hernandez

The saga continues for New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez @AaronHernandez. He has been charged with obstruction of justice in connection to the potential homicide of a 27-year-old in Dorchester, Massachusetts. There is no known timetable for when police will arrest him. Many bizarre details continue to emerge, such as Hernandez's lawyer handing over the tight end's broken cell phone over to police. The victim, Odin Lloyd, was found Monday about a half-mile from Hernandez's home with a fatal gun shot wound in the head. Lloyd was driving a SUV rented in Hernandez's name and was dating the sister of Hernandez's fiancee.

Fantasy Analysis:

Well, fantasy owners should obviously use their better judgment here. Hernandez was a fifth round pick a few days ago, and now his stock is going to plummet. While this is all a bit daunting, tight end is a position where you can afford to make a mistake. If he falls dramatically, let's say to the 10th round, why not take a chance on him as your backup? Hernandez is still the more healthy option at his position on the Pats. Obstruction of justice is a serious charge, it doesn't mean anything on the field until Roger Goodell implements a suspension.
