Dolphins RB Lamar Miller is 'faster and more explosive than Reggie Bush'

Dolphins running back Lamar Miller @millertime_6 is just about ready to get his career off the ground as he will be the team's opening-day starter in just his second year. And Miller's career will be a successful one if he can maximize his talent, which is immense, according to future Hall of Famer LaDainian Tomlinson. Tomlinson recently said that Miller is "faster and more explosive than Reggie Bush."
Like all young running backs, Miller has to work on his pass protection in order to stay on the field in almost any scenario. Quarterback Ryan Tannehill said Miller's work in that area has been really impressive.
"Now that [Miller's] got that, he's going to be a great player," Tannehill said to Barry Jackson of The Miami Herald.

Fantasy Analysis:

Bush reportedly ran a 4.33 in the 40-yard dash during his 2006 pro day; Miller ran a 4.40 at the 2012 NFL Combine. But perhaps Tomlinson meant Miller is faster than the current Reggie Bush? That's probably true. It doesn't really matter; 4.40 speed will play at this level.
The pass protection news is huge, because it doesn't force the Dolphins to take him off the field on third downs. That could mean to a few extra receptions throughout the season. Miller is a low-end RB2 with a very high ceiling.
