The latest regarding Patriots TE Aaron Hernandez

I haven't written anything about Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez @AaronHernandez in the last handful of days. Nothing that required immediate attention has occurred, but it is still the biggest NFL story out there right now. So, if you have been ignoring the ugly situation surrounding Hernandez the past couple of days, here is a quick recap of what you have missed.
On Tuesday, an Attleboro District Court judge ordered that all documents handled by his office relating to the investigation into the homicide of Odin Lloyd, including search warrants, be sealed from public eye. That means information from authorities and lawyers will all but end for now.
Information has been less than reliable in this case as is. After multiple published reports stated that Hernandez had been charged with obstruction of justice, one of his attorneys, Michael Fee, issued a strong denial on Monday.
"Over the past week, our client, Aaron Hernandez, has been the subject of a relentless flood of rumors, misinformation and false reports in the media," Fee's statement read. "These include the repeated publication of a supposedly confirmed report that an arrest warrant had been issued for Aaron, a report that was exposed as untrue."
Massachusetts State Police have searched in an around Hernandez's home in North Attleboro, Mass. several times, most recently on Monday when a search in a pond and through a wooded area near Hernandez's house supposedly turned up nothing. At least three search warrants have been issued in this case.

Fantasy Analysis:

And there is still a long, long way to go before we come close to a conclusion. NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell doesn't need a conviction to suspend Hernandez; he could just make the argument that Hernandez's involvement in the case damaged the league's reputation. And the popular belief is a suspension is coming. Right now, Hernandez is absolutely toxic in fantasy circles. I took part in a 12-team fantasy draft on Tuesday night. It's a league where you start one tight end and can play one or two more out of the flex position. Hernandez wasn't selected until the 14th round.
