Bengals RBs coach Hue Jackson says RB Giovani Bernard could be an every-down player

We've seen Giovani Bernard's average draft position rise steadily in recent weeks, and this quote from Bengals running backs coach Hue Jackson is probably going to continue the trend.
"Having evaluated him and watched every game he played this year and had a chance to work him out, and having spent a lot of time with him, he has that skill set where I think he could play and be an every-down player," Jackson said of Bernard to the Bengals' official website.

Fantasy Analysis:

The Bengals don't need Bernard to become that type of player right away; he is expected to be more of a complement to BenJarvus Green-Ellis @TheLawFirmBJGE this year. But the team certainly wouldn't panic to put him in an every-down role if something were to happen to BJG-E. What type of performances these two backs put on during the preseason is going to be must-see TV for fantasy owners. As is, both are being drafted as RB3/flex options, but Bernard's upside makes him much more enticing if you are choosing between these teammates.
