Cowboys QB Tony Romo still expected to be ready for training camp

Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo underwent surgery in April to remove a cyst from his back. Although he didn't take part in any organized team activities, he was expected to be fully healed in time for the start training camp. ESPN's Ed Werder tweeted Monday to tell us that nothing has occurred to alter that expectation. Werder writes that Romo has been rehabbing daily and throwing regularly. The Cowboys will hold their first camp practice July 21.

Fantasy Analysis:

If there was any concern to insert into this situation, it would be that Romo was reportedly going to need just a few weeks to recover from his surgery, which took place before the draft. Now we're in July, and I haven't heard anyone say outright that Romo is 100 percent, just that he is "expected" to be ready for camp. I would hope so now that we are 10 weeks removed from something that was supposed to cost just a few weeks of recovery.
