'Worth wondering' if Bears WR Brandon Marshall will be affected by latest hip surgery
When an NFL player has undergone four hip operations in the past four years, of course you have to wonder if that hip will continue to be a problem for said player. So, Brad Biggs of the Chicago Tribune was just doing his part when he wrote in his latest column that it's "worth wondering" how Marshall will perform early in training camp and if his hip will continue to be an issue following his latest surgery in January. Marshall proclaimed himself 100 percent healthy in early June.
January's hip scope took care of a problem that Marshall said had been bothering him for two years.
Marshall might take it easy at the start of training camp, much like he did during OTAs. But he'll be good to go well before the start of the season, and even after a 118-catch season, things are looking up for him in the Bears' new offense under head coach Marc Trestman.
