Patriots TE Rob Gronkowski is on the comeback trail

There was a time in June and late May when the reportage surrounding Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski @RobGronkowski seemed endless. There has been nary a peep published since Gronkowski underwent back surgery on June 18. That changed Tuesday, via Pro Football Talk:
"Gronkowski has resumed some light workouts, and Ed Werder of ESPN reported that people who have been working with Gronkowski describe him as being in good spirits, looking good and making significant progress."
Gronkowski is also recovering from the fourth surgery on his left forearm, which took place May 20.

Fantasy Analysis:

What does this tell us about Gronkowski's readiness for the season? Nothing, really. If the most reported timetable is correct, Gronk has about nine weeks left until his back has fully recovered. And I'm sure I don't need to tell you, but the Patriots play their first game in a little less than nine weeks, so he's still very questionable for that game. But this is something positive, and you will see many more Gronkowski posts as we head into August and closer to Week 1.
Gronkowski is being drafted in the fourth round on average, which is still too rich, in my opinion, for a player we already know is likely to miss one game at the very least and possibly a few more.
