Dolphins RB Lamar Miller says he is quicker, stronger, more explosive

Dolphins running back Lamar Miller @millertime_6 has been working out with fellow Miami Hurricane alumnus Frank Gore for the past couple of months, Miller has been working out with Gore twice a day, and he told the Miami Herald's Barry Jackson that he has definitely noticed some changes thanks to all of his running, lifting, and sled-pulling.
""I've gotten quicker doing lateral work, and I've become more explosive by training every day doing squats on my legs," Miller said.
"[And] I'm stronger. Last year, I was kind of lost getting adjusted to the speed of the game and knowing where I'm supposed to be at all times. Now I'm very comfortable with the system."
Gore said Miller reminds him of Clinton Portis, but he is faster than the great Hurricane running backs of the past 15 years -- himself, Portis, Edgerrin James, and Willis McGahee.

Fantasy Analysis:

Miller has seemingly improved as a player across the board this offseason. Gore also said Miller is using better footwork, and we've already heard he's upgraded his skills in pass protection. A breakout season is all set up. Now, how will Miller handle being a leading man for the Dolphins' offense, and will their questionable offensive line consistently block for him? Those are my main concerns about Miller this season, but there is no doubt he is a clear RB2. He has all kinds of raw talent and is going to be given plenty of touches.
