Dolphins HC Joe Philbin says RB Lamar Miller looks comfortable, decisive

Uh-oh. This isn't good for those in Daniel Thomas' corner.
The Dolphins have wrapped up their second day of practice, and head coach Joe Philbin already sees some differences in the play of running back Lamar Miller @millertime_6 from his first year.
"I think his knowledge of the system has definitely increased," Philbin said of Miller via Andrew Abramson of the Palm Beach Post. "He appears to be a lot more comfortable with what he's doing. There doesn't seem to be a lot of indecision in his play."
Philbin also said Miller is "very fundamentally sound."

Fantasy Analysis:

It's the little things that often stand between a young, fast, athletic running back and greatness. How quickly can he understand the offense? How is he in pass protection? Does he hit the running lanes hard and carry the ball correctly? Does he follow his blocks and make the smart play? The physical attributes are one thing, but it sounds like Miller is well on his way to being the complete player the Dolphins envision. It will only help him stay on the field and be a better pro.
Miller said he doesn't listen to those who say he could have a breakout season. That's fine. Let me just type this very quietly: He could have a breakout season.
