Cowboys WR Dwayne Harris chased animals to stay in shape

Here's a new one: Cowboys wide receiver Dwayne Harris @D_Harris17 said he lost eight or nine pounds this offseason by chasing random animals.
"I'd just go out, man, and look for stuff to run after," Harris told ESPN Dallas' Todd Archer. "All kinds of stuff. Rabbits. Cats. Everything. Especially when I was back at home with my mom. We live in the woods, so there was a lot of stuff running out there."
Even Harris' 6-year-old pit bull was part of his routine.
"I'd chase after him because he doesn't want to come home," Harris said.
Oh, and Harris said he got in shape by also eating better and working out a little more.
Harris and rookie Terrance Williams @TerranceWill2 are the top contenders to be the Cowboys' No. 3 wide receiver.

Fantasy Analysis:

Maybe this explains crazy cat ladies. It's not really crazy that they own all of those cats; they just can't afford an in-home gym.
Harris is the early favorite to be the Cowboys' No. 3 WR, and given how often they throw it, such a role would give him some fantasy value in deeper and PPR leagues. It's difficult for any offense to make three wide receivers fantasy-relevant, but look at what Laurent Robinson did with the Cowboys in 2011. And Harris' value could jump up if Miles Austin's hamstrings bite him again.
But if Harris does earn the No. 3 WR job, he better not dog it on the field.
I'll show myself out now.
