Eagles confirm WR Jeremy Maclin has torn right ACL

The Eagles have confirmed that wide receiver Jeremy Maclin @jmac_18 has indeed torn the ACL in his right knee and will miss the entire 2013 season.
Maclin's injury occurred as he was coming off the line of scrimmage during Saturday's practice. He reportedly took a couple of steps and collapsed to the turf. He stayed down for a few minutes before being carted off. Maclin was entering the final year of his rookie contract.

Fantasy Analysis:

Where do the Eagles and fantasy owners go now? Well, DeSean Jackson is still around, and he is the team's clear No. 1 WR now. But I wouldn't move him high up my draft board. He is still a WR3 at best, and I think his week-to-week production will continue to be inconsistent. Riley Cooper @RileyCooper_14 is the favorite to move into Maclin's spot in the lineup, but he, Jason Avant, and Arrelious Benn @ArreliousBenn will all look to pick up the slack, and none of them stand out right now as must-owns. I don't like any of them much. Damaris Johnson is an explosive return man, but he is very raw as a wideout.
We're going to have to let camp play out before we know who is the No. 2 wideout in this passing offense. Even then, that player wouldn't be more than a WR4/WR5. This offense will still literally runs through LeSean McCoy @CutonDime25 and Bryce Brown, probably even more so now. Maclin's injury could mean extra receptions for McCoy.

This hurts the entire Eagles offense, I still like McCoy a LOT this year and expect him to put up big numbers again. I would look for a moderate year from D Jax, really depends on Vick or how quick he gets the hook.
