Bills QB Kevin Kolb: WR Robert Woods is a stud

Bills rookie wide receiver Robert Woods @robertwoods is already the leading candidate to open the season as the team's No. 2 wideout behind Stevie Johnson, and it's no wonder why considering how quarterback Kevin Kolb described him on Monday.
"Stud. I mean, legitimately a stud," Kolb said of Woods. "I've bragged on him a lot in the last two days and really through camp. I mean, what I see from him, I've been with some really good rookie receivers. I mean some really good ones.
"DeSean (Jackson) came on the scene really fast in Philly and a number of other guys and I'm really impressed with the way that (Woods) approaches it. The kid can run better than I think everybody gives him credit for and his approach to the game for a rookie and a high draft pick, he's really got an open mind and wants to learn and a 'my bad' type of guy, which is the kind you want out there playing for you."
Jackson caught 62 passes for more than 900 yards as a rookie in 2008.

Fantasy Analysis:

So far, it looks like the scouts weren't lying when they tabbed Woods as one of the most NFL-ready receivers in the draft. He doesn't have the speed that Jackson has, but Woods can be a very productive possession receiver at this level, and I would be a little higher on his fantasy prospects if his quarterbacks were as studly as he appears to be. As it is, Woods is a guy to watch in deep PPR leagues, but the numbers are bound to be inconsistent with Kolb or E.J. Manuel @EJManuel3 at the helm. Woods is a good dynasty target, especially if Manuel develops like the Bills think he will.
